Hira Ratna Bajracharya is fourty
years old and lives in Mangal Bazaar,
Patan with his wife and children, a daughter
and a son.
Bajracharya has been doing wood carving since
the age of fifteen, and with a quarter of a
decade's experience in wood carving he creates
masterpieces. Bajracharya's father was a wood-worker
and his elder brother is one. He learnt his
skills from them. By selling his works, Bajracharya
manages a comfortable life for his family and
can afford to send his children to a good school.
